You’ve been hearing a lot from my team this week. So I wanted to make sure you had a chance to hear from me too because this has been an important week for our campaign. Can I have a minute to explain?

We have to keep up our fundraising momentum now that a major National Republican and Trump donor announced he is running against us. He’s already spent $337,896 on TV ads 18 months before the election.

And if you thought that was bad, the National Republican Senatorial Committee stepped in and launched tens of thousands of dollars in ads of their own recently. A sign that Arizona is one of the most important battlegrounds for them in the 2022 midterm elections.

Look, we completely expected the attack ads to come, but now they are coming 18 months before I’m up for reelection again.

I love representing the great people of Arizona in the U.S. Senate. And this attack ad or the next one or the one after that won’t be enough to keep us from holding this seat, if we all come together and fight for it.
