Back in July of last year, I introduced the Stop the Censorship Act of 2020.
I could see the writing on the wall -- the Communist tyrants in Silicon Valley were ready to ban any conservative with the “wrong opinion.”
Unfortunately, I was right. Facebook just banned President Trump, the former leader of the free world.
If they can ban him, they can ban the rest of us, too.
That’s why I took action before anyone else, and I need your support today to make sure the powers that be in Washington are taking Big Tech censorship seriously.
I know we’re in the minority party, but free speech should NOT be a partisan issue.
Even the most radical left-wing Democrats should agree that the First Amendment is crucial to our Republic, and protects ALL Americans.
If I am going to revive my bill, I need your support now more than ever.
Big Tech censorship may be a new phenomenon, but trust me fellow Patriot, it is one of America’s most existential threats.
The Communist Chinese have speech codes.
So did the doomed Soviet Union.
These companies have more power than any Communist government could ever imagine, and if we don’t stop them from controlling speech -- and fast -- I fear that we may be doomed too.
