When I first made the pledge to take no corporate PAC money for this campaign, some pundits in Washington shook their heads and said we couldn’t win statewide without big money.

But they don’t know New Mexico like we do.

Today, I’m excited to announce that our campaign raised more than $1 million last quarter — a record setting amount at this point in the race.

We reached that number with thousands of small-dollar contributions from our grassroots army, and not a dime from corporate PACs. I’m proud of how much we raised — but I’m even more proud of how we did it. Take a look:  

This campaign has people power because New Mexican families share our vision for a better future — with quality health care, strong schools and communities, common-sense gun safety laws, and public lands that will be protected for generations to come.

I’m humbled by the outpouring of support and grateful for the opportunity to meet so many voters since this campaign began. Every goal we reach is possible because of our grassroots supporters — and when we win next November, it will be thanks to people like you.
