Friends,

The legislative session is scheduled to end on Monday, and the Minnesota Senate Republicans are refusing to budge on the critical issues Minnesotans are demanding action on. They backtracked their promise to hold a stand-alone hearing on police accountability, made a ridiculously inadequate budget offer, and have continued to waste time and taxpayer resources trying to undermine the Governor’s emergency response.

They know that absolutely none of this helps Minnesotans, but it does give them a boost with the extreme right-wing elements of their base. And with several GOP legislators thinking about running against Governor Walz, including Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka, that’s exactly what they’re counting on.

As Governor Walz continues to fight as hard as he can to bring us through this pandemic and deliver on the progress Minnesotans are asking for, we need to prove that our campaign for One Minnesota is stronger than ever.

We’ve made significant progress toward tonight’s fundraising goal, but we still need 87 supporters to step up by 11:59 PM to hit our target. Will you stand with Governor Walz and contribute $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you?

Thank you,

Berrett Gall
