Friends,

COVID has taken away so much from us this past year and a half, but I think the ones who have suffered the most throughout this pandemic are OUR CHILDREN. High school seniors have been denied graduation ceremonies and senior proms for two years in a row. Younger children have been denied social interaction during crucial stages of their development. Mostly, children of all ages have been denied quality education for too long.

Friend, we need to reopen schools. In many states where schools have already re-opened, COVID numbers continue to steadily drop, and now that we have a vaccine, there’s no reason not to get back to normal life. Fear has won out for over a year -- fear that is preventing our children from important milestones and experiences. We can’t let it win out anymore.
