Hi friend,

We are DAYS away from Pennsylvania’s primary election — and we’ve all got a role to play in protecting and expanding our democracy. The best way to do this is by voting.

If you have a mail-in ballot that you haven’t returned yet, take it to a dropbox ASAP to ensure that your vote will be received by your County Election Office by the deadline — which is Tuesday, May 18! Dropboxes are set up by your county and are a safe, secure, and convenient way to cast your vote.

If you plan to vote in person on Election Day instead of voting by mail, make sure you find or double-check your polling location ahead of time here.

We know how important it is to make everyone’s voices get heard. So if you have friends or neighbors who are voting by mail, spread the word about dropbox return by forwarding them this email!

Thanks for all that you do.

Hi —

The best way we can make our voices heard this election is by getting our votes in early — and you’ve got several options to do that. Scroll down for step-by-step instructions!

If you’re filling out a mail-in ballot, here’s how to do it correctly:

  • Read the enclosed instructions carefully on how to mark your ballot and be sure to complete the front and back of each page. Make sure to vote in every race and/or question on the ballot. To learn more about the questions, visit the Progressive Voters Guide.
  • Put your ballot into the smaller secrecy envelope that only says “Official Election Ballot” and seal it. Do not place any marks on this secrecy envelope. Your ballot must be enclosed in the smaller secrecy envelope in order to be counted.
  • Put the smaller secrecy envelope into the larger pre-addressed outer return envelope and seal it. This is the envelope with “Business Reply Mail” on the front.
  • Complete, sign, and date the voter’s declaration on the outside of the outer return envelope. You must sign the outer return envelope and enclose your ballot in it in order for it to be counted.

Once you complete your ballot, return it right away. There are a number of ways you can do this:

After you return your ballot, you can track its status here.

Remember that your vote is your voice. Don’t wait to use your power — vote early!

Thank you for being a conservation voter.
