A new campaign is advising people on how to get help and advice on debt and money matters.
Launched by Nottingham City Council, the campaign is signposting people to a dedicated?website?ww.asklion.co.uk/moneyas well as specialist advice and support services such as Advice Nottingham and the council?s Welfare Rights Service.

Eric Irons OBE, Britain?s first black magistrate and well-known campaigner for social justice and worker?s rights on behalf of Nottingham?s black community, has been honoured with a special plaque at the city's National Justice Museum.
The plaque was unveiled at the start of? Black History Month with Eric Irons? family celebrating his life and achievements with help from Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Civic Society, the National Justice Museum and Nottingham Together.

Collin Street will be closed from 10pm on Friday 11 October until 6am on Monday 14 October for the installation of a tower crane as the transformation of?? intu Broadmarsh gathers pace.

Four local heroes who have helped the homeless, parents and children in disadvantaged communities, disaffected young people and children with disabilities, have been honoured in the Nottingham Awards 2019.
The awards, now in their eighth year, were held at the Council House as part of celebrations for this year's 725th Goose Fair!
