California just lived through the worst wildfire season on record, and now state officials warn this year could be ever worse. And meteorologists at the National Hurricane Center noticed hurricane season is starting even earlier this year, and will be stronger, deadlier, and cause more damage than ever before.

Congress needs to pass bold legislation to transition to renewables, reduce carbon emissions, and expand public transportation.
