Arlington, TX — Texas Right to Life, the oldest and largest pro-life organization in Texas, today announced their endorsement of Susan Wright in the July 27th special election runoff for Texas' 6th Congressional District.
"Susan Wright is a staunch Pro-Life conservative running to continue the legacy of her late husband, Congressman Ron Wright," said Luke Bowen, Political Director of Texas Right to Life. "She has spent years fighting for preborn babies' natural Right to Life, and we look forward to her bringing that fight to the D.C. swamp."
"As an unapologetically pro-life Christian Conservative, I am so proud to earn the endorsement of Texas Right to Life," said Susan Wright. "With Democrats in D.C. looking to implement a radical liberal agenda, including taxpayer-funded abortion, now more than ever we need proven conservative leaders in Congress to protect our unborn children. As I always have, I will continue to be a voice for the voiceless as your Congresswoman."
In addition to Texas Right to Life, Susan Wright has been endorsed by President Donald J. Trump, Club for Growth, Susan B. Anthony List, Maggie's List, VIEWPAC, Young Conservatives of Texas, Senator Marsha Blackburn, and Congress Members Andy Biggs, Anthony Garbarino, Chip Roy, Elise Stefanik, Jodey Arrington, Kay Granger, Lance Gooden, Louie Gohmert, Pat Fallon, and Troy Nehls.
Susan has also garnered the support of many local officials, including Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn, Tarrant County GOP Chair Rick Barnes, State Representatives David Cook, Matt Krause, Stephanie Klick, and Tony Tinderholt, dozens of precinct chairs, and hundreds of local activists.
Susan Wright has been active in Texas politics for decades, serving members of the state legislature, as committeewoman for the State Republican Executive Committee, and on numerous boards in TX-06.
