John,

A Louisiana House Committee just approved our Term Limits Convention legislation 8-2!

Our volunteers and field staff are working overtime to add that state to the growing list of states voting to bypass congress to approve term limits for the U.S. House and Senate.

In Tennessee and North Carolina the same thing is happening.

We are on the verge of some incredible term limits victories.

But we need your help.

Please, make a generous emergency contribution of $17, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford.

Any amount you can spare will help us keep up our momentum and convince more states to call the Term Limits Convention.

All three of these states could pass our term limits for Congress legislation.  Or, all three could reject it.

Everything depends on our people on the ground in those states.

Our field staff and ordinary people - Republicans, Democrats and Independents - are battling like crazy to go around the professional politicians in Washington, DC who despise term limits.

However, it's an uphill battle.

That's why I need your help immediately.

As I previously reported, in Tennessee "Izzy" Israel is continuing his walk across America in support of term limits.  He's doing interviews and pushing hard for the state legislators to support the Term Limits Convention.

But he needs the help of the USTL support team to assist him on the road and to set up media events.

In Louisiana, it's really close.  Just a couple votes could mean the difference between winning and losing.

In North Carolina the Term Limits Convention has passed one house of the state legislature, but our field team needs help desperately to pass it through the other.

It's a real fight in the state senate.  It could go either way.

Please help.

A few weeks ago we defied the odds in West Virginia and convinced that state to call the Term Limits Convention.

Now, we need to do the same thing in Tennessee, North Carolina and Louisiana.

Anything you can spare will help us keep battling in these states with media events and ads.

Our volunteers and field staff are anxiously waiting.

Please do what you can.
