Trump’s domestic gag rule banned healthcare providers receiving Title X funding from referring patients for abortion care and forced many providers to leave the program.
The Biden-Harris administration’s proposal to end the Title X domestic gag rule is an important step toward expanding access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare. The final rule must ensure equitable access to essential healthcare, free from discrimination and the harmful effects of denial of care policies.
The comment period is ending soon and we must take action before this critical window closes. Tell the Biden-Harris administration before 5/17 to rescind the Title X gag rule and restore equitable access to reproductive healthcare NOW. [[link removed]]
Title X helps ensure that young people, those with low incomes, and the uninsured and underinsured can access critical and comprehensive reproductive healthcare such as birth control, cancer screenings, and STI testing.
As our country faces an unprecedented attack on reproductive freedom, we must show enthusiastic support of efforts to expand access to reproductive healthcare — it’s the only way to ensure politicians uphold their promises to protect our freedoms.
Before time runs out, tell the Biden-Harris administration they must restore and revitalize the Title X program after years of underfunding and attacks from anti-choice extremists. [[link removed]]
