The first few months of 2021 have been rough for fundraising — like really rough. We’re only 72% of the way to our goal with a few hours left until our deadline, and fewer folks than ever are opening these emails.

Look, I get it. After four years of Donald Trump’s disastrous presidency, people are tuning out now that we have a Democrat in the White House.

But we cannot take our foot off the gas yet. Our Democratic Senate majority is extremely fragile. If Mitch McConnell manages to flip just one seat, we lose the majority and McConnell is back in charge.
