Autism Friendly Vaccine Experience Tool Kit
Autism Speaks developed the Autism Friendly Vaccine Experience Tool Kit to guide site staff on how to be welcoming to people with autism and related conditions based on research and standards in the autism and disability fields.The tool kit is also available in Spanish. The Autism Speaks Autism Friendly Vaccine Experience Tool Kits were produced with the support of AshBritt, Inc. a national provider of emergency response services including COVID-19 vaccination sites.

COVID-19 Needs in the Autism Community Webinar
On Wednesday, April 21, Autism Speaks hosted a discussion and Q&A about the impact of COVID-19 on the autism community a year into the pandemic. Autism Speaks shared new findings from our special report about the impact of COVID-19 on the needs, health and healthcare costs for people with autism, a break down of federal relief funds in the American Rescue Plan, and how we’re working to support the autism community into 2021. April marked the launch of the Autism Care Network, the first of its kind learning health system for autism. As a learning health system, the network represents a significant shift in autism care by accelerating research and care improvements at speed and at scale. The network drives rapid and significant effects on quality care, quality of life and reach into underserved communities.
