A new GOP opponent has entered the race to try an unseat Lucy, and he’s released an ad full of ugly attacks.

The announcement video used images of Lucy praying in a church pew to show that she is a “weak-kneed politician.”

With this new campaign cycle just getting started and redistricting underway, we can’t take anything for granted. So we set a goal of 1,000 donations by Saturday at midnight to keep us on track for the month.

Georgia Republicans have made no secret of their desire to kick Lucy out of Congress and they control the redistricting process, so we have to prepare for an ever tougher re-election.
