One of my top priorities is to fight for better jobs and stronger workforce training.
That’s why I’ve held more than 30 “Manufacturing Monday” events across Michigan to meet workers where they are and learn what we can do to help.
Those conversations have turned into results -- This summer I passed the American Manufacturing Leadership Act to foster more innovation in manufacturing and increase workforce training and development.
I want to hear from you on this. Will you take my team’s survey on what more can be done for Michigan’s workers?
Before I ran for Congress, I researched digital manufacturing techniques and saw the rapid development in technology and innovation across the industry.
Giving Michiganders an opportunity to learn these new skills not only strengthens our workforce now, but it puts Michigan ahead to compete for jobs that don’t even exist yet.
Michigan has always led the way in American manufacturing, and I believe our next generation of workers should have the education and training needed to stay ahead.
Take my team’s survey: Do you support these measures to strengthen manufacturing and prepare Michiganders for good-paying jobs?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts,
Haley
