There’s less than four weeks left until Election Day. It’s too late to wait and see what happens. If you haven’t already, it’s time to get off the sidelines and into the game.

We know who we’re up against. The Virginia GOP has finalized their slate of Trump-loving candidates who want to roll back the progress we’ve fought so hard for. With Democrats in control, we’ve been able to expand access to healthcare, strengthen voter protections, enact common-sense gun laws, and increase the minimum wage.

All of that is in jeopardy if we lose in November.

That’s why it’s so important that we nominate proud Democrats who can use their progressive vision to bring energy and excitement to this off-year election. Democrats who have the experience to turn out the Black and Brown voters who led the charge to vote Trump out of office. That’s the kind of Democrat I am.

As I said, we’re out of time to wait. The clock is ticking. Our opponents are already fully mobilizing against us. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to get involved, that time is right here, right now.
