This was my fourth Mother's Day without a mom here to celebrate. I miss my mom most days, but I always perk up when I remember that I will see her again. In the meantime, I reflect on the things she taught me. I remember our conversations and think wistfully of the conversations I wish we'd had. In the end, I'm always reminded of the older women in my life right now who are acting as "moms" to me until Mom and I are reunited in heaven. These women pray for me, listen to me, hang out with me and give me great advice. And let's be honest: I'm old enough to "mom" some young women coming up behind me, too. Always remember the impact others have on you and the impact you can and should have on others. Every grace-filled word and action points a person to Jesus. Let's start making introductions.
