Jewish Insider just released an article about Alessandra and her work in the New York State Senate.

Now three years into her tenure representing parts of the Bronx and Westchester, Biaggi, 34, has gained a reputation, on her own merits, as an upstate force — an influential lawmaker with a growing list of legislative accomplishments who has carved out a space for herself as an outspoken and independent voice in Albany’s cutthroat political sphere.

Alessandra’s making waves in the State Senate. In her first term, she joined other Democratic legislators to pass legislation instituting criminal justice and housing reform, climate justice initiatives, and workplace protections.

And much of her progressive agenda was included in the budget that passed in New York State just a few weeks ago - including restoration of funding for Medicaid and public health programs, significant funding for small businesses, infrastructure, and transportation, and relief for both tenants and homeowners.
