Plenty of people have already joined in on this year’s Overnight Virtual Experience, a physically safe version of our flagship event, The Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk, which raises awareness and funds to help stop suicide, and to support those affected by it. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to register for The Overnight and get started. We all have mental health, and we’re encouraging everyone to take one simple action this month to support our theme of #MentalHealth4All. What better action than to register for The Overnight Virtual Experience? By participating in different activities of your choice during a new Wellness Challenge beginning June 1, you can make a difference, leading up to a special virtual Overnight event program on June 26.

The Overnight is a unique opportunity to join an engaged community of people who share a connection to this important cause. That’s why this year, we’ve created a [private Facebook Group]([link removed].) for registered participants to meet one another, share their personal stories, and connect safely. The group is designed to be a hopeful space for participants to get to know each other, share photos of their Overnight journey, and interact with our Overnight staff. All you need to do to [join the group]([link removed].) is register for The Overnight and answer a few questions.

We know that not everyone is active on social media, which is why we’ve also introduced Mindful Meetings this season – live Zoom calls that give you a chance to meet other participants, as well as your Walker Coach. Mindful Meetings help you get to know one another, share inspiration for your Overnight goals, and lift each other up in a positive and hopeful space. Once you register, you can learn your personal Walker Coach’s Mindful Meetings schedule by emailing [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]?subject=Mindful%20Meetings).

The Overnight has always been about forging friendships and bonds with others who share your experience to this vital cause. We’re so excited for you to join our Overnight Family, and help support #MentalHealth4All.
