Dear John,
A new Fraser Institute study out today finds that Canadian patients are waiting, on average, more than 450 days longer than Americans and Europeans to access new, potentially life-saving drugs.
It's because pharmaceutical companies are reluctant to launch new drugs in Canada.
Why is that?
There are a number of reasons – the smaller market size, weaker intellectual property protections, and the federal government’s strict pricing policies.
Learn more on what can be done to address this by checking out the full study here, and be sure to share it with your friends and colleagues!
Stay safe,
