A new article by Vox explains that an overwhelming majority of “voters say they like many ideas in the For the People Act” but that’s only “when partisan cues aren’t present.”

That’s why two of the most extreme members of the GOP -- Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorn -- keep mischaracterizing democracy protections in the For the People Act.

Greene and Cawthorn have adopted the McConnell strategy -- eroding support for the bill as a last ditch effort. These two are attempting to taint the bill through disinformation and political polarization.

We can’t let their tactics prevent the For the People Act from passing. That would help other extreme lawmakers like themselves enter office with the help of partisan congressional gerrymandering.

The For the People Act is polling well among Independents, Democrats, and Republicans. If we can maintain support for this bill, we can finally safeguard our democracy and achieve fair maps.

Our team is investing in a huge campaign to pass the For the People Act. We are running ads that reach voters and combat disinformation campaigns about the bill.

Make a $15 donation right now to power our plans to pass the For the People Act.
