John,
Last week the New York Attorney General released a bombshell report confirming a massive campaign backed by the nation’s largest broadband companies to generate fraudulent comments against net neutrality.1
Broadband for America, the lobbying group for companies like Comcast, Verizon, and Charter, paid more than $4.2 million to flood the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with 8.5 million phony comments in support of killing off open Internet protections that prevent those companies from controlling what we see and do online with blocking, throttling, and charging unfair fees.
THIS IS WRONG. We were the first group to uncover these fake comments, and now we are pushing to make sure the Big Cable CEOs and lobbyists who were responsible for funding this fraud are fired and face criminal charges.
Donate now to stand up to corporate corruption and abuse and to hold Big Cable CEOs accountable for this fraud.

This would have just been a single story of suspected foul play had we not pursued it to the very end.2 Fight for the Future was the first group to notice the slew of fake comments fooding the FCC back in 2017. Our research led to multiple independent investigations, and we even built a tool that allowed people to look up if their personal information had been stolen and used to submit a fraudulent comment.
We kept this story in the press, we pushed for oversight, and we found as many people whose information had been stolen as possible.
This is what we do—we are vigilantly watching powerful companies that try to subvert our democratic processes. From Big Cable and Telecom to Big Tech, we’re not afraid to go head-to-head with these companies and show them that the power of people can expose their lies and hold them accountable.
This report shows that Big Cable will go to any lengths to try to beat out the will of the people.
But here’s the thing: we won’t let them get away with it.
Your support makes all this work possible. You allow us to watch these companies and doggedly call out any bad behavior in the press, with calls from the public, and to our lawmakers. We’ll never stop fighting this corporate corruption. Donate today to support this work.
Together,
Caitlin at Fight for the Future
