BJS website redesign and publication calendar update

BJS announces a new website coming next month. To accommodate the launch of our new website, publications previously designated on the Forthcoming page for release in May of 2021 will be released in June. Stay tuned to JUSTSTATS and BJS social media channels to receive notification when the new website goes live, along with the release of new publications.



The Bureau of Justice Statistics of the U.S. Department of Justice is the principal federal agency responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating reliable statistics on crime and criminal justice in the United States. Doris J. James is the acting director.
