John, yesterday right-wing extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green shouted after Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the U.S. Capitol. Greene was yelling that AOC “supports terrorists.”

Dangerous right-wing extremists were emboldened by Trump and the January 6 Capitol attack. Greene, Fox News, and others continue to fuel the extremism — threatening the safety of Alexandria and so many others.

Reporters, staff, and other House members looked on as Greene shouted “You don’t care about the American people,” at Alexandria. “Why do you support terrorists and antifa?” Greene added. This encounter is just so untrue, upsetting, and scary.

We know how scared many people, including AOC, were during the January 6 attack. They shouldn’t have to raise security concerns about another U.S. Representative. But that’s what it’s come to in the post-Trump, QAnon world that Greene and other extremists live in.
