As many parts of the country are struggling to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, Indiana is roaring back!
It’s not sheer luck either — Under Republican leadership, Indiana is proving that you can balance your books, fund your priorities, keep taxes low, and make strategic investments that will positively impact Indiana’s future.
We just passed our ninth straight balanced budget; funding Hoosiers’ priorities and making key investments into our future. Thanks to careful planning, we were able to pay off over $1.6 billion in debt!
And job creators are continuing to take notice by choosing to invest in Indiana. In just the last couple weeks, we’ve had major job commitments from Apple, Toyota, and Amazon. Those three companies alone will create nearly 3,000 jobs and invest nearly $1 billion in our state!
What that means for those communities is truly transformational.
We were able to accomplish a lot for Indiana, thanks to our conservative leadership always putting people above politics. Instead of wasting millions or even billions on partisan pet projects, we spent wisely and kept taxes low, allowing Hoosiers to get back to work and get our economy rolling again.
Because we’ve done so well with conservative, Republican policy in Indiana, the Democrats have made our state one of their top targets for the upcoming midterm elections.
