Eid ul-Fitr is a time of celebration to commemorate the end of Ramadan as well as a time to come together as a community. We pray that you and your family have a wonderful Eid and may Allah accept all of our duas, fasts, and charity! As always, we thank you for your continued support of Emgage. Without your generous donations and support, Emgage would not be able to continue its goal of helping empower Muslim Americans around the nation.
A special thank you to those who donated to Emgage this Ramadan, helping us continue fighting for the rights of Muslim Americans and marginalized people around the world. We have worked hard but there is still much more to do.
We hope to continue to see your unwavering support and contributions for the years to come.
Today, we would also like to celebrate Emgage Texas' legislative win for the Muslim American Community through the passage of House Bill 1231. Insiya Aziz testifies before the Texas House for the Eid Holiday bill
Emgage Texas is proud to have drafted and introduced House Bill 1231, which designates Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha as optional state holidays. Emgage Texas has been advocating for the passage of this bill through their State House and will continue their work in the State Senate.
Because of our work, we are one step closer to ensuring that Muslim state employees will no longer have to choose between missing work or celebrating Eid with their families! Eid Mubarak,
Wa'el Alzayat, Emgage CEO
We cannot do this work without the support of our community. Please consider donating to Emgage so that we may continue our work to advance better policy for our community. Inshallah, may this year bring us all more success, health, and happiness. Wishing you a blessed Eid Kareem. |
