If a healthy, functioning democracy encourages as many eligible people to vote as possible, why are Georgia Republicans drastically reducing the number of ballot drop boxes in metro Atlanta?
It's because these legislators don't actually care about democracy; they care about maintaining minority rule. And the only way Republicans can stay in positions of power is by passing bogus new voting restrictions that make it harder for people to have their voice heard.
