Folks, I’ve been a doer, not a talker — with results. Let me explain.

When I became your U.S. Senator in 2018, I told you that I’d be a strong partner and a fierce advocate, not only for the Northland but also for the people and communities across Minnesota.

Since then, I’ve traveled the state, listened to Minnesotans, and turned what I’ve heard into action in the Senate. I’ve successfully worked across party lines to get things done for our state’s working families, veterans, businesses, schools, and tribal communities.

My work has helped make health care more affordable, expand much-needed broadband services, and respond to this unprecedented public health and economic crisis that continues to impact millions of lives across our country.

When the pandemic first hit, my provision to make testing free — whether you have insurance or not — was passed into law, ensuring that cost would not prevent anyone from getting a test.

When the first major COVID-19 relief package became law, it included my bipartisan measures to expand telehealth, provide coverage for new vaccines when they become available, help safeguard America’s medical supply chain, and provide nutrition services to tribal communities disproportionately hurt by the virus.

As I’ve traveled the state, Minnesotans have told me that the high cost of health care is their biggest concern. That’s why the first bill I introduced in the Senate cracked down on big drug companies who literally pay to keep lower-priced drugs off the market.

Access to mental health care has always been important, but especially during this pandemic. That’s why I passed a law to give mental health professionals the flexibility they need to practice in schools, at community-based organizations, and through home visits to better meet the needs of their patients.

Perhaps most importantly, I have always opposed efforts to weaken or eliminate the Affordable Care Act — which has provided health coverage for millions of Americans who otherwise wouldn’t have it — and its protections for the millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions.

As your U.S. Senator, I’ve been a doer, not a talker. My many legislative successes on behalf of Minnesota have not come easily and have only been possible because I’ve had an incredible team of supporters just like you in my corner every step of the way.

Right now, we are living through an historic moment that is testing our state, our nation, and our democracy. We need leaders who are right for this moment, leaders who know how to get results and bring us together.

That is the kind of Senator I have been. As we move forward and build back better, I ask for your support to continue this work — together.

So, will you chip in just a few dollars to keep our fight going strong? We have so much more work left to do. I’ll need you with me every step of the way.

As always, I’m genuinely grateful for everything you do. Supporters like you are the primary reason I’m serving the people of Minnesota at such a critical moment in our history.

I couldn't do this without your support. Thanks for everything.

— Tina
