Sarna Lapine directs Lillian Hellman’s play written and set during the rise of Hitler’s Germany, about an American family, suddenly awakened to the danger threatening its liberty. Hellman’s powerful drama won the 1941 New York Drama Critics Circle Award. Tickets are on-sale now for $18, and on demand streaming is available for all ticket holders until 6 pm ET on May 17. Broadway & Blooms BroadwayWorld Events has teamed up with 1-800 Flowers where fans can purchase a specially priced concert and flowers bundle, and enjoy a streamed live concert of their choice featuring such stars as Laura and Linda Benanti (May 16), Chuck and Lilli Cooper (May 23), George Salazar (May 30), Alex Newell (June 6), Matthew Morrison (June 13), Jenn Colella (June 20) and Leslie Uggams (June 27). Hosted and music directed by Sirius XM Radio star Seth Rudetsky, these live concerts feature Broadway's biggest stars in a seamless mix of intimate behind-the-scenes stories prompted by Seth's funny, insightful and revealing questions—and songs from each star's stellar Broadway career. $5.00 from every sale will be donated to The Actors Fund.
COVID-19 Blues After recovering from battling Covid for forty days, #1 Billboard Artist Deborah Silver wanted to do something to help as many people struggling as possible. She called on her friend, 12-time Grammy nominee Dennis Lambert, to co-write Covid-19 Blues which sums up the trials and triumphs of this past year. With the help of producer Steve Jordan, they created the celebrity-packed remix of Covid-19 Blues video.
