Two is a special number for this team.

We flipped this district by just over 2 points in 2018. And in the midst of a pandemic that changed everything for our community and our campaign, we went up against over $3 million in outside spending and won a second time around in 2020.

I know we have what it takes to defend this seat again in 2022 -- but I’ll be honest, we’ve got an uphill fight ahead of us. I’m a top target for national Republicans, I’m facing multiple GOP opponents, and VA-02 was just rated an R+1 district.

This race gets more competitive every cycle -- we need all hands on deck to build the strong foundation we need for an Election Day win. So today, will you pitch in just $2 or more to make sure we have the resources to organize across VA-02?

$2 may not seem like enough to go up against outside GOP groups and their nearly unlimited dark money.

But if my twenty years in the Navy taught me anything, it’s that there’s nothing more powerful than teamwork -- and the battle for our democracy is no different.
