While the SE US deals with a fuel crisis, Michigan's Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has given Canada one week to cease operating a pipeline that runs through Michigan, breaking a 44-year-old treaty.
This would cause propane shortages in Michigan, and fuel shortages in Ontario and Quebec. While there IS the possibility of an environmental disaster, the timing on this, when there's already a pipeline panic ongoing, is certainly questionable.
Do you think the timing of this pipeline shutdown is bad with the other gasoline issues we're having in the United States? Do you feel we should shut down Canada's pipeline? Is this
really the week for it? Should we try to have better resource relations with Canada? Share your thoughts in the comments.
