October 7, 2019: Forty-four percent (44%) of voters believe the United States is one of the best countries for the middle class to live in. A ScottRasmussen.com survey found that 16% believe it is one of the worst while 40% place it somewhere in between.[1]

By a 55% to 13% margin, senior citizens believe our country is one of the best for the middle class rather than one of the worst. Voters under 35 aren’t as certain. Thirty-eight percent (38%) of younger voters consider it one of the best while 21% say it’s one of the worst.

Men are more positive in their assessment than women.
