On May 26th, join A New Deal for Youth Changemakers as we unveil our public campaign and share the New Deal for Youth Policy Platform and Demands.
We are young leaders advocating for the creation of new systems, policies, investments, and structures that reimagine life for young people in America. As the nation’s most racially diverse generation, we have experienced immense social and economic instability — from recessions, mass shootings, public lynchings, and visible police brutality to growing income inequality and a once-in-a-century global pandemic.
Our transformational and holistic policy demands address the urgent challenges young people are facing due to COVID-19, the economic downturn, and structural racism. Our demands seed a long-term vision for how our nation can and must support all young people. Together with partners and allies, we are developing visionary policy proposals and community solutions that can drive action toward healing and well-being, safe communities, and economic, climate, immigrant, and racial justice!
