Our Latin American alliance la Alianza Por la Igualdad en América Latina y el Caribe have initiated this open letter (here in both Spanish and English) on the brutal repression of the national strike in Colombia, partly triggered by the regressive tax measures introduced and then withdrawn by the government.

 

Our Colombian allies are urgently requesting more international visibility and solidarity for what is happening in the country.
