John,

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. And this year, as so many people in the AAPI community face the painful realities of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a surge in anti-Asian hate, and the alarming rise in white supremacy, it is more important than ever that we pause to listen, learn, and support AAPI leaders.

That's why this month, NAL is proud to host a conversation with four incredible Asian American womxn who are leading the fight against hate and showing us the meaning of leadership and resilience. Join us this Thursday at 7PM ET for our special APAHM Tea on Democracy to hear from some of the fiercest AAPI womxn in our movement! [[link removed]]

We'll be joined by Burien, Washington City Councilmember Sofia Aragon; Georgia State Senator Michelle Au ; founder and president of the Asian Community Development Council Vida Lin , and executive director of RUN AAPI Linh Nguyen . These four women will share how they are challenging racist and misogynistic stereotypes, fighting anti-Asian hate, empowering our communities, and changing the face of leadership.

Get ready for real talk on real issues. Register now for The Tea. [[link removed]]

From serving at the frontlines of policy fights and the coronavirus response to organizing influencers and community groups to get out the vote and strengthen our democracy, these women are leading our movement and making a difference. Make sure you're there to hear their advice and learn how you can amplify our collective efforts! [[link removed]]
