Friend,

It takes a lot of money to run for Congress. In my first campaign, I was up against an incumbent who was sitting on $2 million. Most of that money came from corporate donors rather than the people he was supposed to represent.

I have always focused on the voices of my neighbors, because theirs is the input that matters. You elected me to Congress to serve you, not big corporations. That’s why I’m proud not to accept donations from Corporate PACs.

But without corporate money, I’m even more reliant on donations from people like you. Will you chip in today to help ensure I can continue to advocate for you in Congress? [[link removed]]

You know whose side I’m on when the interests of working families and small businesses are at odds with those of big corporations. I don’t have to worry about what corporate donors will think of me when I support legislation that protects working people.

This campaign is funded by the people I’m elected to serve: people like you. Can I count on you to contribute today? [[link removed]]

Refusing corporate donations is certainly not enough to fix our broken democracy, but I know it’s the right choice for me, my campaign, and you. Fighting for you has always been, and will always be, my priority and the reason I’m in Congress. I’m proud to run a fundraising campaign that reflects that!

Best, Nydia
