John,
Today is a busy day but earlier today we had an idea.
In Texas, the state legislature passed a bill that was drafted with the same language used to disenfranchise Black voters following the civil and during the Jim Crow Era.
In Arizona, Gov. Ducey just signed a bill that will ban ballot curing in Arizona. And in a last minute push, the GOP passed the bill that will purge 125,000-150,000 voters from the Permanent Early Vote List. And Ducey just signed it.
We are also closely watching the U.S. Senate holding a markup meeting on H.R. 1, the For the People Act.
With all that is going on we believe we should push forward our field launch. If we raise $175 from your state we can start making calls right now to organize in Arizona, Texas and across the country. So, please, chip in $25

Holding Mark Kelly’s Senate is key so we must start organizing in Arizona now. Texas is on the verge of becoming a swing state and we’re organizing year-round to turn out vulnerable voters.
If we don’t pass H.R. 1 there is nothing that will stop Republicans from passing even more racist voter suppression bills across the country. If that happens, we’ll see more gerrymandering and permanent Republican majorities across the country.
So we need your help. We want to start making calls today so we are counting on you to help us reach $175 from your state.
Thank you,
Maddy Leahy
