I just got off a call with Emma and you all are showing up big time! We are now less than $8,500 away from closing our budget gap and expanding our media buy.
If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, now is the time. Link is below.
Thanks,
Jenn

I just got out of a budget meeting and needed to send you a quick update as one of Jennifer’s strongest supporters.
As Jennifer’s Finance Director, my least favorite part of the job is sharing the bad news when we don’t have the funds to execute a strong strategic plan. This morning I needed to inform the team that there’s still too big of a budget gap to expand our media buy.
I know Jennifer connected with you yesterday to share how critical this media buy expansion is. We still have until tomorrow to get the funds in the door.
Remember, each dollar will have an impact in expanding Jennifer’s media buy where it will matter the most. Contribute now.
I also want to be transparent with where we are. Jennifer told you earlier in the week that we needed to raise another $20,000 this week. We’re about 54% to that goal. Here’s a snapshot of my budget tracker:
Jennifer is a Democrat, public defender, foster mom, former Virginia Delegate -- and if she wins this race, she’ll be the first Black woman governor in the history of the United States of America.
This primary is between Jennifer’s opponent who represents the status quo, and Jennifer, who represents the future. We can move into the future -- but only if we elect new leaders committed to lifting up every Virginian left behind by politics as usual.
Jennifer is that leader and she is counting on you to help get her campaign message out even further. Contribute now towards her critical media buy.
Thanks,
Emma
Jennifer Carroll Foy was born and raised in Petersburg. In 2017, she flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate pregnant with twins. During her time as Delegate, Jennifer championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.
She has a career of public service and it started long before 2017. As a public defender, Jennifer helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.
Now she’s running to be the first woman elected Governor of Virginia and serve as the first Black woman to be governor nationwide.
Help her make history. Donate now.
