This is big, John. A Texas judge just dismissed the NRA’s bankruptcy case, agreeing that it was filed in bad faith. This decision is a HUGE blow to the already-beleaguered NRA.

The bankruptcy filing was the NRA’s last desperate, hail Mary attempt to avoid legal and financial responsibility for years of fraud and mismanagement. And today’s decision is proof that the NRA is not above the law.

This decision means that the New York Attorney General’s case seeking to disband the NRA can proceed. And it means that the flailing organization will have to continue defending itself against additional litigation from former vendors, donors, and the DC Attorney General.

We have been fighting the NRA for years, now we have the chance to stop them once and for all. Can you give $5 to help fund our fight?

The NRA’s bankruptcy trial uncovered seemingly endless incriminating details about the fraud and mismanagement of Wayne LaPierre and other NRA leaders. Here are just a few examples: LaPierre confirmed that hunting trips, vacations in the Bahamas, and luxury suits were all paid for by the NRA or vendors. He admitted to not telling the NRA board about the decision to file for bankruptcy. The NRA president shredded documents before a subpoena. And, of course, the horrifying elephant hunt video that made the rounds on social media.

It has been clear for years that the NRA abandoned its original mission as a sportsman and firearm safety organization. They have fought any and every gun safety measure, sowing fear and hate at the expense of American lives. And we know now that they have been cheating American taxpayers in pursuit of their extreme agenda. It must be stopped—lives depend on it. Help us defeat the NRA once and for all.
