In honor of Harvey Milk Day, CADEM and the CDP LGBTQ Caucus is remembering the legacy of Harvey Milk – a visionary whose courageous work to end discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the 1970s set the stage for many of the civil rights advances we see today.

Harvey Milk called for hope, hope for a better life for our LGBTQ community, a hope to inspire future leaders to live in their truth and a hope that will change this nation into a more inclusive loving nation free of judgement.
