You know things are bad when James Carville, the architect of the Democrats’ messaging, is speaking out against cancel culture and “wokeness.”

The problem with the left’s rationale is that by painting everyone as a “victim,” they are therefore denying true victims of discrimination, hate speech, libelous actions, etc. the protections they need. And they are destroying any opportunities for the oppressed to get ahead.
If everything is offensive, then nothing is offensive. If everyone is offended, then no one can be truly offended. It essentially cancels itself out.
We agree with James Carville that “Wokeness is a problem”... and “cancel culture” is not a healthy solution.
