They're just a couple steps away.

Both the House and Senate have passed versions of bills that would allow for permitless concealed carry in Louisiana. They only have a few more steps to go before they pass the legislature. Both HB 596 and SB 118 would do away with requirements for individuals to undergo training to legally carry a concealed weapon. Legislators are passing these bills even though major law enforcement leaders and over 80% of Louisianans think permitless carry is a bad idea.

Concealed carry is already legal in Louisiana and requirements for training and education strike the right balance between public safety and personal liberty. Click here to contact your state legislators to tell them to vote no on HB 596 and SB 118.
