Our elected officials here in Nevada place great importance on our schools and education systems.

As a member of the House Education and Labor Committee, Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03) introduced the Keep Our PACT Act, which would invest hundreds of millions of dollars in Nevada's schools annually.

And Gov. Steve Sisolak has made improving Nevada’s education system a top priority. He has supported increasing funding for public schools, expanding access to vocational education, and advocating for our teachers -- especially during the uncertainty of the pandemic.

To top it off -- First Lady Dr. Jill Biden just visited Las Vegas this week to congratulate our very own Juliana Urtubey, Nevada’s 2021 Teacher of the Year, for being named National Teacher of the Year!
