It's Mental Health Awareness Month, and we're working to raise awareness about how gun policy solutions can prevent tragic loss during a mental health crisis.
That's why we're partnering with the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence to host a panel of experts for a discussion on Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs), a key legislative pillar of our Common Agenda to End Gun Violence.¹
The forum will be an excellent opportunity to learn the facts about what ERPOs do and how they work. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions to our expert panel.
ERPOs already exist in 19 states and the District of Columbia, and they have been proven to prevent suicides. If you or others you know could benefit from learning more about this policy, I encourage you to attend and share this invitation with others.
