On January 6, following a months-long disinformation campaign by former President Trump and his allies to sow distrust in our elections, a violent mob assaulted the U.S. Capitol and attempted to halt our democratic process.

We need a bipartisan, independent commission to investigate what happened so this never happens again.

Unfortunately, partisan politics is getting in the way of getting this done. But the only way to prevent future attacks is to understand what happened and why.
