Conservatives in Kentucky just did what liberals falsely claim that we oppose and expanded voting access. Hi John,

Ronald Reagan once said, “Government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem.” This rings true for Americans who want to live their lives in peace without overbearing government interference. That is, unless you are far-Left.

In New York, a liberal bill has reached the legislature that would give New York regulators the power to oversee broadband as a public utility. These unelected regulators would have authority over broadband internet, which gives them the power to further regulate voice over internet protocol.

We have to look no further than Washington, D.C. to see how ineffectively the government operates and runs agencies. With this concerted push for control and power over private entities, the Left shows it has no consideration for the power and virtue of the free market and private enterprise.

The liberals will not stop here. They will not stop at government interference of private business; they will continue until every facet of the state is under government control and regulation. Conservatives continue to fight to alleviate citizens and businesses of the burden of government overregulation.

We can only hope New Yorkers continue to fight against this egregious overstep.

Sincerely,

Casey
