We did it Friend!! Our resolution to recognize April 15, 2021 as the first “Immigrant Day of Resilience” in D.C. was passed by the D.C. City Council. Look! 😭🎉

It is with tears of joy that I share this news with you today. Me and other leaders in D.C. organized the D.C City Council and made this possible because the resilience of our immigrant communities deserve to be honored and celebrated!

And we believe it can be official in your state too! Add your name to our petition and let’s urge Congress to recognize Immigrant Day of Resilience as a national holiday.
