Mitch McConnell isn't hiding his agenda. And (shocker) it has nothing to do with helping the American people.
When asked last week about his priorities for this Congress, the Senate minority leader said this:
“100% of my focus is on stopping this new administration... 100% of my focus is on standing up to this administration." -- Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell
The Republicans have no plan to better the lives of their fellow Americans, unfortunately. They don't want to build back our crumbling infrastructure, to create good paying union jobs for working people, or to make healthcare more affordable and accessible.
All they know is “fight the Democrats”.
This only heightens the stakes in the 2022 midterms. With the Senate at a 50-50 tie right now, if Mitch McConnell can flip ONE seat, he is back in charge and NONE of President Biden's plans to rebuild a prosperous country stand a chance of becoming a reality.
