John,
Have you heard?
Michigan’s Governor Whitmer will receive the John F. Kennedy Library Profiles
in Courage Award. I’m serious.
I went on Fox and Friends recently to discuss this recent news and I have to
tell you, when I think of profiles in courage - Governor Whitmer is the last
person that comes to mind.

When I think of courage, I think of people who run toward the problem and find
a solution. Soldiers, police officers, firefighters, emergency room doctors,
and nurses are some of the people that flashed across my mind.
I certainly don’t think it takes courage to lock down a state for political
convenience - especially when it costs Michiganders thousands of jobs.
Over the past year, Governor Whitmer has forced businesses to shut down,
locked students out of school, and left nursing homes to fend for themselves -
ultimately leading to the deaths of 5,698 residents and staff.
Governor Whitmer failed us and she must be held accountable - not given an
award for her ‘courage.’
Today, I’m reaching out to you, John, to see if you’re with me in our newest
mission - supporting and empowering the future conservative leaders of tomorrow
who will lead through the challenges of today with boldness and balance.
Add your name if you’ll be joining us to take back states like Michigan, as
well as the House and Senate in 2022.
