After months of thorough and meticulous work, our team is thrilled to announce that our 2020 Federal Human Trafficking Report will be released this summer. The 2020 Report will provide comprehensive data from every federal criminal and civil human trafficking case U.S. courts handled last year. For the first time, in addition to data from the last year, we’ll explore all federal trafficking data collected over the past 20 years since the passage of the first U.S. anti-human trafficking law.
The Report is a recognized and authoritative source describing trends in enforcement of anti-trafficking laws in the U.S. Data from previous Reports have been cited in articles on human trafficking by the New York Times and NPR. One government leader described it as the most reliable cross-section of human trafficking data within the U.S.
This year’s Report will be a one-of-a-kind resource providing a bird’s-eye view of the U.S. prosecution response to human trafficking over the past two decades.
